Creating the Future of Wind Power: Collaboration amongst MEGA P&C Advanced Materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Covestro (Shanghai) Investment Co., Ltd., and Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd. at the 4th CIIE in 2021

MEGA P&C Advanced Materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as MEGA P&C) was invited to participate in the exhibition hosted by Covestro (Shanghai) Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred as Covestro) at the 4th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred as CIIE) on November 9, 2021, held under the theme of “Leading the circular economy shift and creating a low-carbon future together”. Companies across the supply chain, including Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as TMT), were brought together to discuss future collaborative initiatives.

MEGA P&C is one of the first company in China to research on cutting-edge wind turbine blade protection technology, and has launched five generations of products over the past 12 years. At the same time, MEGA P&C has launched water-based turbine blade coatings since 2016, and a wide variety of fast-curing products. After years of technical innovation, MEGA P&C’s wind turbine blade protective coatingshas reached the advance level in China. According to the public information, MEGA P&C has won the single champion in the filed of wind turbine blade protective coating in 2021.

Covestro has always been the closest partner for MEGA P&C. At this CIIE, MEGA P&C participated in a signing ceremony with Covestro and TMT to sign a letter of intent for a three-way strategic partnership. Moreover, Mr. Victor Law, the Vice General Manager of MEGA P&C, signed a memorandum of cooperation with Covestro, committing to work together to create technology breakthroughs and positively contribute to recycling energy technology, carbon emission reduction, and carbon neutrality.
